Out of an abundance of caution, we cancelled the KVBC ride in Winslow scheduled for last Saturday due to forecasts of rain and thunderstorms. The weather turned out to be far less dramatic than forecast. Apologies to everyone, and to Tom in particular for putting in the effort to lead a ride for us. This Sunday we will close out our May rides in Jay as we explore the back roads of Livermore and Canton. Hopefully we will see drier weather, and see you Sunday! Sunday, May 25 - JAY "May in Jay" - a scenic river ramble up and down the Androscoggin. START: 9:30 am, Jay Plaza on Rt.s 4 & 17 near the junction of Rt.140. Park along the north end of the parking lot away from Hannaford's. DISTANCE: 28 miles with a 38-mile option TERRAIN: mostly flat with a few hills.
