Properly Pedal Pedal Properties

We had a great weather and a really fine ride last Saturday in Jefferson - lots of lupines and lake views!  Many thanks to Bryan and Holly, and the nice group that turned out.  It was great to have some newcomers along - hopefully they will come back for more!   This week we get to welcome the Summer Solstice, and to celebrate we will meet in West Gardiner for another adventurous tour of local conservation lands with the good folks from the Kennebec Land Trust.  Hope to see you Saturday!

Property Pedal with the Kennebec Land Trust

We have been experiencing great cycling weather of late. Last Saturday we had a picture perfect day for the ride from Jefferson around Damariscotta Lake. Our thanks to the Griffins for leading us on such a great route. This Saturday we hope for more fine weather as we explore some of the conservation lands of the Kennebec Land Trust. We had a great ride last year on the first "Property Pedal" and this year's revised route looks even better with the chance to scope out more of the KLT properties. There is no fee for the ride (although the KLT welcomes new members!). Hope you can join us!

Property Pedal Tour with the Kennebec Land Trust

We had a superb ride from Brunswick to Cundy's Harbor last Sunday, with great scenery and an impressive turnout with really fine weather (turned out not as hot along the coast). We did have some adventure amidst the unmarked gravel roadways out on Cundy's Point, but everyone got back safely, and we had a great lunch stop at Wild Oats in Brunswick. Many thanks to Ken Louis for adapting the ride for us! This week we will explore many of the local conservation areas of the Kennebec Land Trust, expanding on the loops of the KVBC Eleven Ponds Ride. The KLT sponsors this free tour to publicize and promote their worthy conservation efforts - and they appreciate support in the form of new memberships. Hope you can join us!
