Albion My Way
We had a great "Wake Up the Earth Ride" last Saturday in Belgrade Lakes with 23 riders turning out, many of whom rode the long (and hillier) route. Good show! This Saturday we are going to be treated with an all new ride from China out to Albion to start off the month of May. The CDC now says that fully vaccinated people (at least 2 weeks post-vaccination) can go maskless outside if they are not in large groups, but bring a mask anyway, especially at the ride start and anywhere on school grounds. Please maintain distancing, and join us another day if you are not feeling well. We have some great rides coming up this month and we hope we can all take part! See you Saturday!
Saturday, May 1 - CHINA
"Albion My Way" - a May Day tour through China, Palermo, and Albion.

Wake Up The Earth!
We had a fine ride last week from Winslow, with some 18 or 19 riders, including several new folks! Many thanks to Jeanine for another great ride! This is Earth Week, meaning that it is time for our annual "Wake Up The Earth Ride" where we welcome in the Spring. We'll meet in Belgrade lakes at the Belgrade Community Center, and ride out over some challenging terrain to Wings Mills and Mount Vernon. We will also have a shorter loop that also comes with some hills. And we might have a stop at the bakery in Belgrade Lakes near the ride's end. Please remember to bring masks and use them in close quarters, keep up with distancing, and please stay home if you are running a temperature or have other symptoms. Hope to see you Saturday!.
April 24th, Saturday: BELGRADE LAKES
"Wake Up The Earth Ride" - welcoming the arrival of Spring with a ride through Belgrade, Wings Mills, and Mount Vernon.

DISTANCE: 17 or 28 miles.
TERRAIN: rolling to hilly.
HIGHLIGHTS: some well-earned hilltop views of the Belgrade Lakes area, some roller coaster hills, Castle Island, and a possible stop at Hello Good Pie in Belgrade Lakes.

Lose Fast, Winslow
We had a beautiful spring ride from Augusta last Saturday, as temperatures soared into the 70s and 17 riders turned out. May not be quite so warm this Sunday, but considering that it might snow Saturday, we'll be happy with a nice sunny day for our tour along the river in Winslow. Please remember to bring masks and to use them when in close quarters with others, maintain social and physical distancing, and please stay home if you are feeling unwell. Hope to see you Sunday!

START: 9:30 am at Winslow Elementary School, 285 Benton Ave. in Winslow.
DISTANCE: 20.5 miles
TERRAIN: Moderate with a few Hills
HIGHLIGHTS: some fine rural roads with some river views

Don't Get Hissy at Hussey's
The weather forecast for this weekend is just too, too nice not to have a ride, so we will meet in Augusta at CONY High School for a ride out to Windsor past Hussey's General Store and the Windsor Fairgrounds. I still have some jerseys and other items that people had ordered, and I will bring those along. Please remember to bring masks and to use them when in close quarters, maintain distancing, and please stay home if you are feeling sick. See you Saturday!
Saturday, April 10 - AUGUSTA
